Default Rearend Skunk2 Coilover Installation, Part 2 (2nd weekend)

Hi, I just installed the front (2) Skunk2 Adjustable Coilover Springs last Saturday on my 97 civic ex coupe 5spd manual, and didn't have anytime to install the back ones as I had other obligations to attend to. Anyways, I will be working on the back ones tomorrow and I was wondering if anybody knew if there were any important details that I need to know about installing the back (rear) skunk2 suspension set-up... I heard that the back is easier to put in, but I was just wondering.

Also.. I unwisely let 3 weeks pass before I checked on my oil fluid levels. 3 weeks ago, they were perfectly normal and it was at almost maximum levels. I just checked yesterday, and it was almost bone-dry!! I did an oil change at 151300, and the odometers is at 154600mi... I know that this isn't normal for a car to "eat" this much oil.. I'm quite sure I'm not burning it as the exhaust that comes out of the car (the fumes) are nice and clear, except when it's cold out then there's condensation/steam.. Details: the oil pan had residue on it and I looked a lil closer and it seemed like in between 2 bolts that held the oil pan on there was oil originating from there.. I wiped it clean, filled the oil back up (almost took 1 quart to fill) and came back 1, 2, and 3 hours later. No oil residue on the sides or bottom of the oil pan.. Not sure what the problem could be..

My guesses: seal/gasket is bad on the oil pan, or the bolts on the pan are a lil loose. I haven't had any time to check it out closer, but will have time this weekend. Anything helps!

Thanks ahead of time!

the back is reallly easy to put on as far as suspension. you should have no trouble if you got the fronts

as far as oil goes, look for any signs of a leak (other than the oil pan gasket, which you already found)

turn the car on, let it run for a couple mins, shut it off, then in another 5 mins look under the car. if its leaking alot you will see it on the floor.

also, if you have vtec and use it often you use more oil (or i do anyways)

Nope, I cleaned up the oil catch tank and it's not leaking there... Can't find any other places it could be leaking from. 1 quart in 3 weeks is waay to much to be normal use. And I don't put my car past 4,500 rpm so Vtec is rarely engaged.

As for rear shock/spring installation concerns: prepare for broken LCA bolts.

That is all. You can search for specifics, as there are 11ty billion threads about it.

I broke a bolt on my driver's side where the bolt connects the damper fork (which connects to the strut).. It was a pain to get out.. Had to use 300Lbs of torque force with the impact hammer.
