Rear wheel bent/slanted...
The other day I had gotten into a pretty bad mess up. I was driving and took a left (should tell you guys that it was raining) and I must've hit a pool of water cuz my back wheels slipped and started drifting. Well I counter streared too much and spun my car around doin a 360 and hitting my rear driver side wheel into the curb. Now its bent. Well just wondering if anyone knows what this might cost me. Darn mother nature....heard it's around $1000. Seems high for one wheel/axel/arm or what not. But I really have no clue. Help would be useful. Thnx.

Re: Rear wheel bent/slanted... (BatuKing)
Damage is to the left rear. Just about everything:
Trailing Arm
Suspension Strut
Wheel Hub
Stabilizer Link
Control Arm Bushing and
Front Alignment...
...
Most parts I could probably find at a Junk. Any know of any that would have 95 civic parts around Milwaukee Area? But about do-it-yourself...I don't know about that....
Sux for me.

You can probably just get the whole rear trailing arm assembly at a local junkyard and slap it on yourself if you know what you`re doing. It will definately cost less than $1000.

Re: Rear wheel bent/slanted... (JDM Ninja)
you better hope that you didn't bend the rear subframe (where LCA hooks up too).
If you didn't repair shouldn't cost you more then $500.

Nope. Noone I took it to said anything about that and it doesn't look like it. But I also haven't gotten anywhere near $500. Am I being ripped off? Or am I just too worried?
