Rear sway bar installation?
A friend of mine just got a Skunk2 21mm rear sway bar for his 99 ex coupe and and asked me to help. I know zero about these, is this a difficult installation?, and what exactly involved in installing this?
Thanks in advance

Re: Rear sway bar installation? (purek9hybrid)
it should just hook up to the stock mount positions
on my car i the bar was up higher than stock and i need d to reroute the exhaust piping..had to take that to the shop first
on thing for all our sakes...make sure the car is well secured on blocks or whatever..it ll hurt if comes down
one other thing...it would make things easier if u spray the hell out of the stock bolts and have a impact wrench too..right tools usually make any job easier

Re: Rear sway bar installation? (deepnite)
Any rear sway larger than 19mm and you run the risk of tearing out your subframe. You will need a reinforcement kit. If the skunk bar does not come with one, then don't use it. Most people who want bars that big go with the ITR rear bar and a beaks kit. http://www.beaksproducts.com

The skunk2 sway bar comes with backing plates to reinforce the subframe. If You don't have better shock/springs than stock this might not be enough. You should be able to crawl under the car without jacking it up and do all the work. It is really easy to do.
