Default Rear main seal: Do I use hondabond or none

So tomorrow i'll be helping a friend change transmissions and while we are at it might as well install a new rear seal. I've never used hondabond or any gasket sealant on it. Should I? Or just a light coat of oil like i've usually done in the past, and just install it?

I've searched and came up with different install procedures... So I wanna know what's the ideal method of install/replacement.

I agree with 98civdx. I did my own rear main and didn't use any sealant. Still sealing just fine
