I got a legit JDM emblem set for my 97 EJ8. The back emblem doesnt fit properly due to the fact that its a coupe and the TR is a hatch. So any good tricks to make it fit better? I was thinking of putting 3M emblem adhesive around the edges to hold it, but i dont think thats a great idea, I'm scared that if i hit a bump or anything driving down the road it will fall off. What tricks have you guys used?

Ummmm where did i say the pegs were the problem? Because theyre not. They're already cut off. Let me re-word my questions for you so you can understand. How can i make it sit flush on the trunk?

OP, your best bet is going to be 3M tape. That stuff is sticky. As for worrying it's going to fly off, this is the chance you take when you get stuff that isn't quite right.
