Rear hatchback window trim (EG)
How do you get the trim back on? Is it supposed to be put on with the window out? I removed it for paint but don't want to remove the window. Can I reuse the trim or do I have to buy a new piece? Thanks

Re: Rear hatchback window trim (WhiteOnRice)
i pulled the trim off another car one time and put it on my car.
i just ran a bead of black silicone inside the channel, then put it on, gave it a few hours and let it dry.
still holds on strong.
if any of the silicone seeps out on the window (where you can see it) just take a razor blade and scrape it off

It's really hard to push back in in certain areas. How do you get it in? Any special technique?
