rear drum brakes problem
"main problem is i have rear drum brakes"
but my secondary problem is that when changing the the shoes ther is a U horse shoe clamp that holds the poilt in place to hold the E brake in place.
how can i remove that U clamp with out ripping it apart and buy another one?

Re: rear drum brakes problem (92 CIVIC HATCH VX)
The horseshoe thing should just pull off, or use needle nose pliers on each tip of the shoe & smak it w/ your hand or a hammer. If it gets bent, bend it back & re-use it. Make sure it snaps back on securely.
