Rear Camber kit?
I noticed I have some serious inner tread wear on my rear tires. I am looking to purchase a Rear Camber but not sure which to get. Most of the threads everyone seems to recommend Skunk 2 but then some people say the SPC is good also. What would you go with.
Also do I need new LCA or just the camber kit itself? I have coilovers on the car with 17's.
My last question is do you need a camber kit on the front or is that just to make it easier to do the alignment?
TIA

Re: Rear Camber kit? (underpressure02)
1st u dont have to have a Camber kit in the front but i HIGHLY RECOMEND IT
2nd the brands to go with are: Skunk2, Ingalls, and SPC
3rd for rear camber some use a WASHER, IT WORKS and is cheaper... do a search there was a thread about it a while back that everyone gave their opinions.

I read the thread about using a washer for the back.
If I would go with a camber kit in the rear do I need the LCA also?

My vote is for SRR rear camber kit and or toe kit, I have both with the SRR LCA's and I love my rear end....
front I'd go SPC or SKUNK2 but with the recent threads about the skunk2 messing up SPC is on my list.....plus you get caster setting on it.....

check the last 2 links in my sig.....
Very true that washers are easier and cheaper, but from what I've noticed in my area is that shops charge more for removing the upper arm and "shimming" washers in and having it be trial and error...so it almost balances out....
Regular alignment on a lowered car around phx is more expensive than a stock height car. I was charged 60 for an alignment cuz of the SRR stuff I have, if I wanted washers done it would of been 80 and up....

Re: Rear Camber kit? (mox99)
I read the whole write up on the washers from this site http://home.earthlink.net/~civ....html But I also read if you have coil overs and plan on raising and lowering the car a lot that the washers are more of a pain in the ***. I will check out those two links in your sig.

Cheapest I have found for SRR rear camber is http://www.perpetualconcepts.com for $95 shipped. Front camber I would go with omnipower usa Front Camber kit for $160. Very similar to Skunk2s version, but without the crazy markup. http://www.omnipowerusa.com/Pr....html Call them if you have any doubts, they are the coolest people. I just bought my FR camberfrom them. Should get it anyday.

But if you raise the car back up a little, you have to remove a washer or two again. Just seems easier to spend the extra $100 or so on something you can fine tune. Not knocking the washer bit, just think if you have the money to do it, I'd rather go with a way that is better all around, even if it costs money.
