Rear alignment problem
hey guys,
i dont have much information because i dont know the problem myself. but i took my 95 civic hatch to have an alignment because it was chewing up my tires bad,
the shop told me they coudlnt align it because the rear wasnt sitting correctly, and if they did the front it would dog track. he asked if i had been in any accidents or dropped the suspension, no and no,then they told me to bring it to an autobody shop for them to check it. if anyone might know the problem please reply.
thanks

Re: Rear alignment problem (Hatchback of Notre Dame)
I had this same problem, Had a friend fix bent controll arm, and front axle, 100$ said and done. Hit a curb in some sick *** ice storm.
I got an alignment afterwards and seems to be fine.
Dont know if its the exact problem you have...but sounds like it.

Re: Rear alignment problem (Hatchback of Notre Dame)
Sounds to me like they dident want to do the work of a rear alignment on your car. to do that its a lot more work involved because you take the wheel and the who assembly off and put spacers in there to get it to track correctly not hard by anymeans just work intensive.
Most places dont want to do it if they can get out of it.
