hey i have a eg coupe. at about 1500 rpms accelling and decelling it something under the car rattles. you can also feel it through the shifter i can't figure out if it is the exhaust or shifter. help please.

mine was exhaust and got worse and worse t
I took it to a shop today they cut off two inch's of exhaust now it fits and doesnt rattle when the car vibrates

where did u have them cut the exhaust pipe off at? was it stock exhaust? a custom exhaust? or name brand cat-back? i have a custom 2.5in custom resonator back exhaust. right now i have a magnaflow ordered but it is driving me crazy

It's probably your heat shield on your catalytic converter. Removing the shield will remove your rattle

i have already done that removed heatshield above cat & the one artound cat.

forgive me for not knowing the name i bought the car modified i know only the pipes are wide ...nah its definately commercial its got serials on ever segment of pipe the problem area was the bend to the passenger side i the pipe was vibrating against the back side of the heat shield if you can jack it up and look you should be able to see where it sits real close to the heatshield on the undercarraige he removed two inches from the segment of pipe that connected behind the catalytic convertor
