Random Question.
What do you think of the following cars:
Hyundai Tiburon
Subaru WRX
My brother and I are shopping for a car this week and he wanted me to ask around. Those are two cars that have caught his eye. Any insight as to if those cars are good?
BTW- he'd get a used one (no older than 1999 tho..)
Thanks a lot-

Re: Random Question. (maryanne)
I dont think the tiburon is a bad car... maybe just that hyundai really hasn't built a rep yet. And compared to the 227hp turbo awd WRX, the tiburon really can't stand its ground. Think of the tiburon as a basic honda civic, the wrx will be like a really fixed up prelude. The wrx cost like 12k more than the tiburon, how can you compare the two?

how about showing this to you bro...
thats the 2003 tiburon with some bodykit on.. the fully loaded tiburon retails for less than $20K MSRP, but right now you'll have to pay premiums cuz its in high demand.. some dealers ask for $20 to $23K...but you can find a dealer with a good price..

Re: Random Question. (ConceptVBS)
I have a hard time comparing the two cars. I don't know how much of an aftermarket there is in the US for the Hyundai. I think it's a capable car and platform, but might be easier to start out with the WRX. It really is hard to compare because you'd be pressed to find a fully loaded WRX for the price of a Tibueron. Wish I had the money to make the decision though.
