Default Ran at theTrack 2day. timeslips inside...

have a 92 hb si w/ a jdm h22a. i ran my car at the track tonight and i wasnt too satisfied.

1st run: 2nd run: 3rd run:
reaction: 0.648 0.574 0.785
60 ft: 2.600 2.645 2.501
660: 9.890 0.131 0.001
mph: 94.97 97.40 95.37
et: 15.105 15.272 15.031

im on 18inch racing harts so i guess that slows me down a lil but im the process of getting some 17inch volk gtp's. i had a lot of wheel hop as well. my shocks are shot out as well so i need to get those too. any suggestions on getting rid of wheel hop? oh yeah, and no i dont have lsd. i wanna get the driveshaftaxles too cause i felt the cv's were gonna snap. i was letting go on the gas sometimes.
thanks in advice guys!!

wow, u have some terrible 60ft times. ur times are way off. even with 18's you should be running 14's. our h22a civic (aem/rsr exhaust) went 13.9 with a 2.17 60ft on street tires. our car is full interior and its a 94 civic ex (full power everything). sorry to bag on you. but those times are sad.

you might want to try different wheels/tires and practice your launching. 3500 worked best for me, dump the clutch, feather throttle a tad and then go WOT.

Times are kinda shameful but no biggy. It takes time to put down good runs although if you dont see some dramatic improvements next time you may want to practice on your 60's on some deserted road.

yeah its all your launch

usually a low 2sec 60ft is considered good for a fwd car

look at mista's times,
he did a 1.8 60ft on sohc and hit 14's,
you did a 2.6 on an h22a and hit 15's...

all the launch man, all the launch.

but yes, aside from knowing how to launch properly, the way your car is setup, it will be alot harder to launch well.

it takes 5mins to put on some stock wheels for a trip to the drag strip, put your 18" blingers on when your done.

your car has alot of power, so you can race ppl from a roll on the streets anyways...

NOT THAT IM SAYING YOU SHOULD!!!.. um... STREET RACING IS BAD I MEAN!!.. doh..

why would you go to the track with 18's on. that makes no sense to me. do yourself a favor and get 16's so you dont need to change everytime you go to the track. trust me they will be much better and you will love them. BTW you suck at driving

you have the MPH for a mid 14 sec run but you need to see your 60' in the 2.1-2-2 area. The longer you spend spinning your tires the worse time you'll get.

Damn...you all bag on the 18's. How about what rubber are you running? That makes a huge difference. I run 17's on my turbo setup but have Toyo RA1 tires and its very hard for me to break the tires loose. A friend of mine is running almost identical setup, but has Nitto tires and has a very hard time controlling wheel spin. If you don't have grippy tires, the 18's will really hurt your times.

The 15" wheels allow you to run lower tire pressure than low profile tires and help grip alot too. But light weight 17 and 18 inch wheels can go just as fast at 15's. Just depends on your setup.

Yeah at 89mph. He ran 97mph so the power is there, just needs to learn how to drive.
