This auto is a WAY BETTER deal... I'm getting a MUCH nicer car for basically the same price as others with a "shittier" look to them..

It better be a steal and not a deal. Auto to manual isn't cheap and the work isn't fun either.

Well from what I hear, auto to manual is no walk in the park. So unless he gave you the car I wouldn't bother
All that work vs. just looking around (even in the HT classifieds) hmm....no brainer

Re: Ran a Search but nothing (Kyles ej1)
the price for the auto and a conversion is prob the price and time it will take to find a nice good condition stick one....
trust me you'll hate it in a week and it will take forever to get parts, labor and maybe money to get it all done.
Take all that time and money and keep searching

Re: Ran a Search but nothing (Hatch It)
Everyone on here is right. It takes a while to find all of the parts, and to know what fits what. There are god knows how many threads about this on here. There is a complete how to by LuserKid. There is one to show whats needed in the swap I will try and get links for both.

Re: Ran a Search but nothing (turner7205)
The "complete thread" by Luserkid was my car. I can assure you a lot of time and money went into getting all the parts I needed. Labor & Parts I spent well over $1000 and that was getting the majority of it used. I'm very happy I had it done, it was a long time in coming - Would I do it again with another car? **** no. I would buy a manual and save my *** the trouble hehe.
