Hey I have heard rummers that that exhaust has a problem with the bends and welds of the system and crack . I have the same exhaust but with the dual pipes coming out of the one muffler . Have you heard these rummers also ? I have had mine for a year and I haven't seen any probs yet .((my friend)) Just wondering if someone is blowing hot air or actually know what they are talking about?

I have one too. I love it. It has a nice deep sound to it.

I didn't have any problems with mine fitting, but on my b/f's he had to take it somewhere to get the pipe bent a little because part of it was touching his bumper.

i have one on my hatch with a straight pipe, love it, but its loud, especially when vtec kicks in, however, fitment was perfect......and yes, there's small kinks in the ex. pipes but it won't hurt performance wise, but i did modify 'em just b/c i needed more flow. one for example was the flange that connects to the 3-bolt flange cat. it started from a 2'' to 2.25", i cut mine and put a straight 2.5", no biggie if you keeping plain

I've got 2 hybrid 1992 hatches, and 2 Tanabe Racing Medallions, and I love this exhaust.

No problems in terms of fit and quality, and the sound is totally kick-***.

I have seen 5Zigen and other exhausts have the hangers break off the muffler, but NEVER had problems with either one of the Tanabes.

Want to see a pic of the 2 hatches and the 2 Tanabes?

Here's a few pics I whipped up:

The underside of my car was crazy-nasty in that one pic on the rack after my first swap.

Why does the TRM stick out that much from the bumper?

What kinda exhuast does the black hatch (the one closest to your car), the exhuast is at an angel

Well, my Tanabe RD had to be cut and rewelded when my B18C1 was installed, but then it had to be recut and welded to fit the B18C5

It really wasn't sticking out far - that pic is at a funny angle. Anyways I sold that Tanabe with the car only because I'm buying a new Tanabe Super Racning Medallion for the new CX
