Default quik question that i havent found insearch yet !

ok heres the deal, i have a 92 eg with a b16 and gsr tranny and the teg brake swap( all four ). now my question is with all that weight in the front compaired to the lil put-put motor that was in it befor. heres were im having trouble! i got diffrent rims for the car because the 13in rims that came on the car (factory) wouldnt fit. so i got some 15in rims and now it sits a lil higher then i want it to so im getting suspension but due to the weight in the front should i stick with the civic or teg suspention, and not have pre wear on the shoucks and springs ?

i doubt you put that much more weight on the front end. but just get some lower profile tires. get some with the same rolling diamiter as your 13's. i got 195/55/15's on my civic now, and i had a set of 205/35/18 and they were only a quarter inch taller.

yes, get a civic suspension...

and like Frickr said, get the correct tire size for your 15s.

calculate your stock wheel diameter and figure out what tire size you need to closely match that diameter with 15s.

wheel diameter = (rim diameter in inches) + 2x(sidewall height in inches)

for 195/55/15:
195 = tire width in mm's
55 = 55% of 195mm = sidewall height in mm's = 107.25mm = ~4.22"
15 = rim diameter in inches.
wheel diameter = (15") + 2x(4.22") = ~23.44"

figure out your stock wheel diameter. then see what tire size would be best for you.
NOTE: if you change your wheel diameter significantly, you're speedometer won't read the correct speed.

yeah, 195/55/15 is slightly bigger than 175/70/13 ---> speedo will read slightly under what you're travelling...

i think i'm running 195/50/15s... it more closely matches the stock wheel diameter...
