Here's my setup, I wanna know what will cure me of the aweful buzzing/raspy sound my car makes at 4k.

- B16a2
- Megan 4-1 header
- 2.5" piping straight to exhaust
- OBX twin loop muffler

Will a resonator kill the raspy or will I need a cat? Someone help, it's killing me. I bought the twin loop cus it's sposed to be quiet. Blah!

ive noticed that the quiter mufflers seem to have a rasp to it after a certain RPM, especially after vtec kicks in. I kind of like it, but im not sure if its' your cat or not, try a test pipe?

glass packs will quite the raspy sound,i have 2 on my car and they give it a deep sound but not that much louder than stock( i hate loud exhausts)

do you have a silencer in your muffler tip? When i put mine in i get that raspy noise but when its out i have nice deep noise.. but i feels like my car will shake apart . I would suggest getting a resonator. it wont hurt your hp.

up this one cause i want to know to. my exhaust is really really loud and raspy even with silencer. i was thinkin about getting a rez too

A cat will also quiet it down some more.

I'm thinking a Catco cat, cus my 02 sensor is on my header and it just took a **** on me. LOL!

I think a cat will do it.
