quick rim help
hey guys. I have a 95 del sol currently with 18" Konig rims with 215/35/r18 tires. The rims are great looking and fit the wells perfectly, but they are bent on the inside and those combined with my ebay coilovers, makes for a pretty hard ride. That, and with a slightly modded motor, the bigger radiuses slow it down. What would be the best 16" or 17" combo for a near stock motor del sol. I would like a better ride but I dont have a grand i can just throw out for brand new rims and tires. thanks guys

Re: quick rim help
my opinion would be 15" but thats just be. i think most hondas look better with smaller rims. if you want sumthing cheap u can always go for replicas and such. DRAG wheels or sumthing similar should work for yur needs since yur looking for a decent ride with non-expensive rims

Re: quick rim help
The 195 or 215 width is the tire size. The rims size will be notated in inches. Depending on how wide the rim is will determine how wide the tire should be. In general, for a civic, a 195 or 205 tire is fairly common.

nice car but i just think 15" or 16" look more proportionate to a smaller car thats all. theres also tire size that effects the stance. just my opinion

Re: quick rim help
If you think about it i have the same size rims as 16" cause of the low profile tires. close to 15s i think. cause if you use puffy tires there is a 2-3" wheel on the rim instead of me having a 1"-1 1/2" tire.....so its pretty much the same thing i think. but i guess people dont realize that.........just my expressing my thoughts!

Re: quick rim help
i realize that the overall circumference might be similar but for the rim itself, i prefer them with 15-16's unless i had a bigger car (dc5 fa5) i'd go 17". Everyone has their preferences
