i can kind of help.i have this quick release hub on my car.i have no clue what brand it is-i bought the wheel used and it included the hub kit.it has NO play at all,and you can lock the wheel on using the drink machine style key provided.only bad part is that it spaces the wheel way further out.some people may like that, and of course any quick disconnect is going to space it out at least a little.i think i may take my adapter hub and shorten it some, then re-weld it shorten the whole assembly a little.if you're interested, maybe somebody here can ID the kit.

Here is mine, sorry for the big pictures. in order to release the wheel, you pull on the collar and lift. it's like a air hose locking mechanism, with ball bearings...if you are interested, i can get more. PM me if you are interested..

on sparco's website, they advertise the quick release for $329. the quick release that i have is the same concept as the sparco quick release, as it too uses ball bearings, which lock into place. i can get them for you for 1/4th of the price of sparco's...
