simple....
disconnect battery
remove air bag
remove center nut holding wheel on
remove plastic around collumn
run correct wireing for horn and cruise control.
line up slim hub
attach quickrelease hub
attach wheel
thats it in a nut shell but if you search their are more detailed DIY instructions with pictures.

what i did was disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and left it for a good 10 minutes so the juice in the system wouldn't trigger the airbag when I tried to remove it.
Once all the power is out of the system, just disconnect the plugs (yellow in my case) and remove the airbag and the steering wheel. Just make sure you have the proper screwdriver, socket, and steering wheel puller.
Took me about 20 minutes (including the 10 minutes waiting) to do all this. It's very simple.

hardest part is lining up the new aftermarket steering wheel..
no matter how many times i've tried, its never perfectly straight. just gotta go get the wheel aligned at a shop afterwards.

Also when you get a chance, pick up a manual for your car. ive got a Haynes and its my bible for all my cars/ friends cars. they help.
