Quick ratio steering for 94 hatchback
I race auto x and find myself fighting my manual steering through the slaloms and tight turns which is almost the whole race. I just can't move my hands quick enough. I would like to install power steering and if possible find a quick ratio box to make things easier. I looked under the FAQ and saw a write up from power steering to manual but not from manual to power steering.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Re: Quick ratio steering for 94 hatchback
you can get a quaife quick ratio steering rack and pinon set its not cheep and you need to install the parts into your rack. or you could go to the junk yard find a car with a power rack remove the rack and the lower subframe and install them in you car and convert it to be used without a power steering pump
here is a ht artical with some info on it
