Default quick question for you all...

What is EG & EK? I have a 96 Civic 2-door coupe, and was wondering what this meant. This is my first Honda, so bear with me, please.

yes if you have a 96-00 EX you have an EJ8.

eg and ek are the common terms for the 5th and 6th gen civics. technically very few people have actual eg and ek civics, but for ease of reference those are what they are referred to.

thank you guys for the responses. I am 24, but just learning about Hondas & such. My friends have them, and I was the one who had the lifted vehicles, so please bear with me for a while.

But, again, thank you for the great information.

PS professor poon, none taken.

who gives a expletive. to make it simple i just refer to 88-91 civics as ef hatch or ef coupe, 92-95 civic as eg or coupe, and 96-00 civic i say 96 and up civic. if its a 99-00 si i say 99-00 si. and if its 96 and up hatch I say EK

so basically my friend in my eyes you got a EK coupe
