Default Quick Question : Will 96-00 Civic shocks fit a 92-95 Civic?

A good friend of mine is selling his AGX's off a 96-00 Hatchback. I have a 95 Civic coupe and I was wondering if I would be able to use them. I've heard of the front shocks fitting but the question is if the rear shocks fit as well. What's different if it doesn't fit? Is it the lower control arm? is it the "fork" area on the rear shocks?

Just looking for a quick answer.

Any assistance/help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the info. Even though it sounds tempting, I think I'm going to pass. When it comes to suspension, pesrsonally, I don't want to mess with it too much.

Thanks for the answer though!

the fork on the bottom of 96-00 civic shocks are smaller then 92-95 civic shocks. just grind it down and it'll work fine. plenty of guys around here run that type of setup with no problems.

Im pretty sure grinding a couple of millimeters off of a LCA isnt going to hinder reliability. I dont think the rear shocks would mind either.
