Quick question on steel brake lines and GSR brake swap...
I'm swapping full GSR brakes (front/rear) on my 98 hatch and I will be installing stainless lines at the same time. If I buy lines for a 99-00 SI (since it has rear discs), will they work for my swap? Thanks in advance.

Yes basicly any civic brake line will work. But the ones you are ordering sound fine. I actually just did this conversion a day ago lol took about 20hrs because of soo many stupid little problems.

not true the front ones will work from any civic integra and the rear you are going to need a brake line from any honda acura with rear disc. Yeah i hope it doesnt take you as long either, my main problem was a couple of the pistons in the calipers were frozen and didnt wanna come loose. An impact gun will help the swap alot too! Good luck

yes, its true that you can use dx lines in the front as well...but lines are sold in sets of front and rear - you cant mix and match (even if you could, its just easier)
Integra lines are too long in the front, hence...em1 lines

I think you need to 99-00 Si emergency brake cable too. The one that came with the drum brakes won't work.

Re: Quick question on steel brake lines and GSR brake swap... (Stop the Beast)
Thanks for the help, guys. I think i've got all of the parts I need now. Here's what I have:
Integra front uprights w/ new ball joints
Integra rear trailing arms
Front/Rear calipers
Brembo rotors
Axxis pads
Russell 99-00 SI stainless lines
99-00 SI prop valve
99-00 SI ebrake cables
I think i've got it all covered. I'll also be putting in new tie rod ends and rebuilding my axles while they're out. Should take me a full day, but at least I have access to my shop's lifts and compressed air (plus compressed nitrogen, if necessary).
