Default Quick question about Apexi ws2

Buying the unviersal muffler and I just want to make sure I'm getting the right one. I have 2.5 piping already and I'm replacing my skunk2 n1. 60mm muffler inlet is the size to get right? Does the offset matter other than aesthetics? I chose offset left.

60mm = 2.36 inches...63.49999mm = 2.5 inches...hope that helps.

Yeah I did that measurement as well, that doesn't tell me anything since I'm not a car expert. I suppose I will get a little backpressure. 70mm is 2.76 inch.

Any exhaust shop should be able to make it work.

That will be fine.

The WS2 muffler only comes in 60mm and 80mm as far as I know.

I used to own a center offset WS2 and heard one with right offset. It sounds exactly the same.

The 80mm WS2 seems like a solid option for all motor or turbo folks who want to keep their cars quiet and get the best flow they can. 3" piping + long resonator + 80mm WS2 would be a solid choice I think.

The fact that OP is asking this question it's safe to say he does not race his car. So all the flow or not don't really matter.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I recall reading that the WS2 for forced induction (80mm) is a straight through design, so it's more similar to Magnaflow. Therefore expect it to be louder than the NA (regular) version. It's been many years for me.

According to this website the WS2 is straight through on it's 60mm and 80mm universal applications:

You are right. All universals are straight through designs.

I didn't know the Universals are different.

Now that I'm looking at this again. The Catbacks are not, correct? The website does not say.
