My car: 1997 Honda Civic EX D16Y8 Currently

I have the LS laying around as well as most of the other stuff to do the swap. I have a S1 cable trans and since I already have it and i'm on a low budget I want to stick with that. I'm getting a whole set of avid mounts this weekend for an "EK". Now, my question is what mount do I need to use the cable trans in the EJ8 and can I use the a T bracket from a hydro B trans?

your car uses a hydro trans, you cannot use that cable trans, you're better off getting a ls hydro trans from an obd-II integra or a b16 hydro trans.

Thanks, that kind of what I figured what was going to be said. I was just trying to avoid buying another trans. I guess ill start looking for a LS or GSR trans because I do plan on boosting it.

if you're going to boost might as well get the ls trans is better for boost.

I don't argue the LS is a great trans to boost with, but the GSR gives you the best of both worlds of the B16 And LS. I'll more than likely go with the LS though because they're easier to find.
