quick ecu question

Default quick ecu question

hey i tried posting this in the hybrid section but no body answered... so hur goes


Ok so I gotta quick ecu question. Im getting a hondata s200 and needa know which ecu I have right now. I know its a P30, but I dont know if its a P30 A or a P30 O... the # layout is as follows ....

##### - P30 - N01
### - ###### AYJ

does the A in AYJ = p30 A? lol if not then could someone quote this and boldface the # that indicates which ecu i have =[ thanks

Looks like a manual JDM P30. According to the Hondata site it is an O.

Is your ECU the small case type?

Hondata s200 will work with a usdm or jdm ecu, so don't worry about it.
Just make sure who ever is chipping/socketing your ecu can setup a jdm ecu.

yea i no they are all compatible with the ecus but the only thing is that im buying it from an online place and they are making me specify which ecu. dont the plugs vary ? cuz s200 is outboard .. sorry im an ecu noob. =[
