quick clutch question

Default quick clutch question

i have a 92 hatch wit a B16 tranny and wen u press the clutch u go all the way down and u let it go like a 1/2 inch and i grabs is there any way to adjust the clutch lower or higher like in the EF (cable tranny) on the hydro tranny??? thanks

You probley can adjust it.
Look around were the clutch pedal is.
I dont know because i never adjust hydro before.

im pretty certain that the pedal is adjustable. but i dont think id change mine. if you adjust it too much you may not engage or dis-engage the clutch all the way and could cause gears to grind or your clutch to wear out prematurely.

i couldnt adjust the clutch but i adjust the clutch pedal its easy

i think the hydro's are 'spose to self adjust. the only adjustment i know of is the pedal freeplay.

you do have a stock clutch in it right?

you may want to check the fluid level and maybe even bleed the system.

on a hydro system there reallyis no adjustments, the system does it by itself, if your clutch is grabbing too high it ususaly means the clutch is just about ready to be replaced because the clutch is getting thing so the throw out bearing has to move further before the pressure plate clamps the clutch.

Ever since I put in the clutch it's release point was always that high. I always heard you can adjust the pedal itself.
