Benifit as long as it is greater than a stage 1 cam.
Stage 1s are so minute over the stock specs that you need tuning to really see that much of a difference.

but if you dont tune a spec 2 or 3 cam, that will be bad. Exhuast and intake ports will be all fuckered. Youd be better off waiting till you can tune and then upgrade your drivetrain. thats a must...

As long as the valve train is upgraded and the cam timing is left at 0 then no harm will happen.
