Default Question!!! searched

hey guys.. ive been told that i mightneed to replace my slave cylinder and master cylinder.. but yesterday i was on this lonely street wit a friend.. and i decided to like bang 2nd.. well when i shifted into 2nd.. it felt as if a grind.. but i know for sure that 2nd gear syncro is good... could the slave clyinder or master clyinder cause this problem? and my pedal is getting a slight stick when i push the clutch in? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

How are you sure that the 2nd synchro/sleeve set is good?

What kind of transmission?

Do you have short shifter?

A little more info on your setup please.

The slave cylinder usually goes bad before the master cylinder. They are usually inexpensive and easy to replace. If you have many miles on yours already its not going to hurt anything to replace it anyway. If this doesnt solve your problem its in the transmission any likely a worn/damed synch. Hope this helps!!
