Question on head gasket install
How do you guys get the head off of the block once all the nuts are removed from the ehad studs and everything is disconnected? I have everything taken off and all the lines and harnesses are disconnected but I can't seem to get the head off of the block? It's like stuck! Do I hammer this sucker off or just pull really hard!?

thanks guys, got that sucker off altogether! Intake manifold and head! That ****** is heavier than I thought! haha, anyway, now that I got it off, the pistons look like they're in good shape, but I'm wondering if there's anyway to visiually inspect the head gasket to see if it's in fact blown? How can you tell?

...took the words right out of my mouth.
ive never been able to visually see where the head gasket has gone bad myself.
