Question: Exhaust Downpipe Interchangability

Referring to 1999-2000, as both the si and ex manifolds are two piece (along with others), is it possible to put the si downpipe (latter-section) mated with the ex upper section?

the si (b16a2) and the ex (d16y8). Im not talking about the top half (the part the bolts to the head), but the bottom half and whether or not its interchangable.
