Re: question on cluster (EGJdmJreams)
your cluster will work fine but it will stay in park and light up red. I would save up for a regular eg manual cluster. i did an auto to manual swap and am still using my regular auto cluster until i find a new one. Dont fret and worry, just get a new manual cluster and all is well

Re: question on cluster (EGJdmJreams)
im running an automatic cluster right now cuz i got it for $40 shipped. the lights DO NOT TURN ON because there is no plug to plug into the back of the cluster where the automatic strip thing is. if u dont want it there just put some black electrical tape over it.
edit: I personally left mine untaped and put a beanie over the shifter. let the theives think its automatic.

If your car was auto and converted to manual and don't swap the cluster, the tranny light can be disabled by unplugging the green socket behind the fuel/temp gauge. then put a black sticker on top if the indicator lights so its hidden.
I did a cluster swap on my manual DX and I used one from an auto EG9. I just used a black marker to erase the indicator lights. Basically plug and play. And I also wired up the door/ trunk light indicator on the tach gauge and its mad tyt yo!

Actually, I didn't mean they would light up. I meant the spots would still be on the cluster.

Re: question on cluster (Daniel_san)
it wont make a diff. take sum electrical tape and cut it to fit over the lights for parking and stuff. just cut it to fit over the light section and u wont even be able to notice it at all. i have the same thing in my eg
