for the most part yes. you don't need itr parts such as the timing belt, water pump, oil filter. just get standard b16 parts.
i am not totally understanding your questions.
EDIT: My bad, didn't read b16B. My guess would be yes. ... you won't find too many b16b owners here. most are b18c5, b18c, and b16a. Hope you get the exact help you need.

I'm pretty sure that all B16Ax parts will work just fine.

I am pretty sure you need ITR stuff seeing as how the block is the same. Have fun trying to squeeze a b16a belt on there...

Maybe I'm missing something here but when did 1.6 liter and 1.8 liter blocks become the same thing?!

Actually, yes, you are both missing something rather basic about the ctr b16b block. hint:destroked itr block. And yes, I am pretty sure that I am right.

Re: Question for the b16b engine owners (SuperSlow)
Yeah I own a B16b and recently did the waterpump timing belt etc...
In Ireland I can easily get these parts for the B16b, because 90% of our performance cars are Jap.
Waterpump and oil pump oil filter - Yes B18c parts will work, timing belt Im not sure of, I got one for the B16b.

You might recall me saying "maybe I'm missing something". I was not aware that it's a destroked r... I've never looked into b16b's because you can't make it legal in my neck of the woods. I wasn't giving you ****, no need to call me a child. Maybe you missed it but my statement was posing a question.

Re: Question for the b16b engine owners (NineTwoSi)
You use a gsr or itr timing belt man. I had a b16b its a destroked itr with a b16 crank. Use a itr or gsr timing belt. If you put a b16a timing belt on it will not work.

Re: Question for the b16b engine owners (SuperSlow)
Thanks, already bought b18c timing belt wich is the same for itr and gsr. Also, water pump for itr and oil filter looks a little smaller than b16a's engine. Thanks for helping out.
