Question about a swap!
I have a 94 civic ex coupe and I just order a 98 jdm itr motor and tranny. I have been looking for a really detailed site that explains how to swap this motor into this car step by step so I get it right the first time. If anyone has any info I would appreciate it. I am probably buying an OBD 2 to OBD 1 conversion wiring kit to assist me in the wiring part of the swap.
I also want to know if my exedy clutch, fidanza flywheel, and b&m short shifter might fit my new set up or if I should just but new. I would like to use these parts if possible and buy new in the future (due to being broke after buying the motor). I have been told yes and no to this question and figured someone here would have the answer.
I also wanted to know if anyone knew the performance numbers I should expect with this setup. 94 civic coupe with 98 jdm itr motor, Aem cold air intake, OBX headers, 2 1/4" mandrel bent exhaust all the way, short shifter, stage 2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, and a dry 50 shot of nos. I just want to know what to expect when I hit the tracks. Thanks alot!
