QUESTION ABOUT SPARK PLUG/WIRES
i have a stock cx motor from a 94 hatch. i believe its a d15b7. im planning to swap to a d16z6, so i dont want to spend any money on the d15. but i've look on ebay and they are selling spark plug wires and it says its made for d15 & d16. i was wondering if i buy the wires for the cx motor can i later use it on the d16z6 motor and it will run fine on there? or the d16z6 wires are different from the d15. thanks. same goes for spark plugs, i saw some of those on ebay as well.

actually, plug wires for d16y7/y8/y5/d16z6 have smaller seals on them where they meet the valve cover. the d15 and b series plug wires are the same though

Re: QUESTION ABOUT SPARK PLUG/WIRES
I know this is old but was just searching on this and looked up the info so thought I’d pass it Incase others are looking.
The d15 and d16 use the same plugs. I’m not sure yet if the wires.
But if u look at anywhere that sells plugs (ex-autozone)
they are the same part number for my 90-d15b2 and my 93 d16z6. Ngk- part#4554
