Default Question about removing engine from under car

Do I have to remove the whole rear tranny mount in order to drop the engine/tranny? I have an automatic tranny if it makes any difference.

I usually take the mount out, just for the extra room. But it does not need to be pulled out. Just make sure the bolts are removed.
