Re: question about gas milage (SIDEXIT)
give the car a complete tune up - change everything EG2Drvier mentioned and also replace your fuel filter, maybe get some injector cleaner. But you aren't going to be getting mpg like a Prius or anything..if you drive fast everywhere you might just want to cool it a bit, it helps.

I had the same problem on my '93 DX. bought the car after 110,000 miles and it used up to 13litres/60miles. I changed all filters, oil, checked for leaks and changed head gasket, cleaned the throttle body (don't want to know where that car has been driven by its previous owner...), had the wheels aligned, bought new NGK spark plugs and MSD wires and the gas mileage improved a bit. The car felt a bit more responsive as well. But don't expect any magic. had about 10.5litres/60miles afterwards but the engine was in quite a bad shape at the time of purchase so i just used it to learn on it - before i crashed with it
conclusion: i'd say the better the condition of your engine, the more chances you have of improving you MPG.
good luck
