question about cooling system
ok, im sure everyone knows that the number 1 rule when relocating a radiator is to make sure the radiator cap is higher than any part of the motor....my question is what about the reservoir, now it seems to me that you could put the reservoir on the ground and it wouldnt matter as long as the radiator cap is above the engine but i just wanted to clear this up

Re: question about cooling system (cehcivic15)
in theory yes...
the bottle allows for expansion when the engine is warm and contraction when it cools down. coolant is being pushed through the hose so gravity would only help here, then vaccum from the cooling of the system pulls the coolant back in like a drinking straw.
to avoid unforseen factors i would try to keep it close to level with the radiator though.
