Default question about a 99-00 front end swap and an intercooler

im wanting to do a 99-00 front end swap on my 98 dx coupe...im just curious about the fitment...my intercooler barely fit in there after cutting away a lot of the 98 bumper...i just want to know if the 99-00 bumper will sit farther back (closer to the intercooler) or not...because if so i will have to cut away way more than i would want to.

thanks in advance

cliff notes: will a 99-00 bumper sit farther back than the stock 98 bumper and create intercooler fitment problems?

Its easier to put a cooler on a 99-00 then a 96-98, thats my personal opinion though, you shouldnt have a problem.

thanks for the input...but keep in mind that it is a 98 civic, with a 99-00 bumper...so will it still be easier?

It shouldn't be as bad, both frames are the same, the bumpers were made differently
it should fit though if it does with the 99-00. Should be easier.
