I'm not sure if you can, but it would proably be in the manual if you could. I suppose if it can't be programmed in, you could cut the signal wire from the brain.

what are u talking about.. u mention nothing about installing a new alarm ...

but anyways... if u are installing a new alarm, then it will be in the manual... basically programmable from the valet swtich and buttons on the key fob

Wait, so are you trying to stop it from beeping with the stock alarm, or are you trying to disable the stock alarm to install an aftermarket?

Stock honda alarm only has a lock, unlock and panic button.

Lemme try to clear it up. My friend wants to disable the horn when the car is locked and unlocked because he wants a real alarm system to be installed at a later time. My question was how do I go about uninstalling the stock horn chirp. There is a wire that can be cut?

If you cut the wire that makes the horn chirp when you arm the system, then the alarm itself will have no horn to sound through.

So if thats what you're trying to accomplish, then find the security control unit and clip the gray wire at pin 18.

In other words, you can't have one without the other.
