Default q about 5 lug conversion

i searched but didn't find the answer i was looking for. i'm doing the conversion for someone with an EK, don't remember the exact year. he's got the control arms, spindles, rear trailing arms, everything. is it a simple bolt on ordeal? i do swaps and lots of engine work and some suspension work but since i've never done this conversion i don't know if there's anything special i have to do. please inform me, or throw me a link to some place where i can search out the info. thanks a lot.

just want to know if much of anything is different for the EK conversion

Yes, it's pretty much a bolt in affair. The brake cables are the most challenging part IMO, but not a problem. Make sure all the bearings are good before you put it in. It wouls be a real pain to have to take them back out.

Maybe this can help: http://www.hybridautomotive.com/tech/5lug/

yes, stuff is a little different for the EK (having done it myself):

- use Civic front UCA's and LCA's
- ITR shocks/springs can be used up front
- use Civir rear UCA's and LCA's (ITR LCA's will *NOT* work)
- Civic shocks/springs must be used in the rear

PM me with any questions.
