there are start buttons made specifically for that purpose, but probably any button that works like that (i.e. when engaged sends a pulse of electricity rather than a continuous stream and then dis engages automatically.) You could probably even use a toggle switch as long as you turn it off when the engine is started

yea, you can pick a push button start at autozone or kragen for like 20 bucks

keep in mind that every switch is rated.... a small toggle switch or momentary push button switch can only handle a maximum of a few amps of current.

just remember to use a DPDT relay cause your starter takes a good amount of current.

jegs sells one for 8 bucks the s2000 one cost like fifty

go to raido shack and get a momenraty contact push button
connect one wirt to starter senloid and one to power
bam push button

use some thick wire but not to thick the button is like 2.49 for 2
