Pulling a trailer?
I know I can get a hitch for my car, but really, how much can you pull with a freaking car? Ive got a small trailer that wieghs maybe 450-500 pounds that I use for my ATV, would the Civic handle it?

Re: Pulling a trailer? (iceman7329)
i dont think you want to pull a trailer with a civic due to the fact that the car was not meant to actually pull any thing but it self i could see a bike rack or somthing but an some atv's with trailers weigh just as much or more than most civics but if you think your motor and clutch are up for it give it a try however i do not think that they make a hitch for a civic that can handle that much weight because the hitches ive seen on most civics are drilled right into the spare tire well wich the metal there is very thin so any wayse i would buy a small truck that can handle your atv and your car.

I figure it would be around 800-900 loaded with the atv, its a little 250 My engine is shot so Im not worried about that I just dont want to destory the body. So I could pull the trailer empty though right?
Ive got a truck but its in a million and one pieces right now.
I know a guy who pulls a 27 foot bass boat with a 89 CRX.
