Project Journal (civic 99)
My project car has just been started. It's a 99 Civic Sedan, i'm running 205/16/40's on tucan reactive coilovers, and tokcio shocks. Installed megan racing rear lower control arms and doing the coil overs as we speak. I have a 26mm rear sway bar but waiting for my new bushings. Stock engine with y8 sent out, michgian machine. Ls rods, arp fasterns, weisco piston packages. Also port matching my b18 throttle body. Ups came so i took a couple pics. Block should be back soon, and will keep updating as the project grows.
This part of the project is the custon mount colume. I'm flush mounting 2 toggle switches below an apex'i rsm and apex'i s-afc 2. I'll be doing all the ecu controls threw a obd1 conversion and chipping. I also have 4 12's in a fiberglass encloser in the back, all the work was done by me.
Ohh, and i'm also modding the front bumper, MOLDING, not just tacking on a lip. It's the 3 hole 99 sedan bumper, middle insert cut out, entire bumper sanded down, plate holes filled, and the mugen lip molded in and everything smoothed out. Should allow plenty of air flwo for the intercooler..

I am gonna try play with fiber glass this summer. In your case, you duct taped over the console and lay FG on it?
I am thinking do a FG "carpet" over my rear hatch gutted room.

Re: (Nova_Dust)
thanks for the enormous pic. Sounds good. I see what you mean. Stupid lazy people just tacking on a lip. It's so much better when you ghetto fiberglass the lip to the bumper so when you bottom out for the first time it chips.

who makes a 26mm rear sway bar? thats awful big an ITR bar is only 22mm
I was unaware you could use LS rods in a D-series as well as a B-series throttle body...so you are going turbo? what kind of turbo will you be using
