new engine and trans mounts
Shift Linkage
Subs & amp and New reciever for AUX
alarm / remote start.

What FULL turbo kit's do most people run if you were to slap it on a B16 right out of the box with no other mods other than a different ECU to tune and a full 3" exhaust? I need to see if my guy carry's any of them as a distributor. Thanks! There is so Many threads I am going blurred again! lol, Don't mean to ask I just see 50/50 opinions on EVERYTHING lol. Looking for a bigger group of people saying "THIS IS THE FULL KIT YOU WANT TO BUY!" and what brands.

I should specify that I am looking for a kit that is capable of getting me to roughly 250-300 WHP. I will get the work needed on the bottom & top end to keep it reliable. valves / retainers / pistons / P&P. Id really like to hit those numbers on a 93 Octane tune and stay reliable. Also what ECU would be best as far as tuning goes?

Would Really like to blow the old WRX out of the water with the SI! Also where do you guys go generally to buy ITR transmissions?
And what is the best full 3" exhaust (Sound wise) and who makes them? Look for less rasp if possible and more growl!
Those are the only few things I am kind of lost on at the moment. I have everything else picked out for the most part.

Lastly for those of you around Chicago, Who is your most trusted tuner? Tuning is everything! My 06 wrx 2.5L ran on 408 WHP for over 40k Miles and it was pretty much a Bolt on build... Everyone said it would blow right away. I beat the snot out of it and the only problem I had was having to re adjust the Oil feed line from a small drip...

Here was the specs on wrx (not STI ) just wrx.
-ATP 3076 turbo, w/tial 44ewg
-APS 725FMIC
-APS Headers
-APS 70mm intake
-APS turbo inlet
-APS BOV
-Stock TGV Deletes
-850cc injectors
-sti 6 speed swap
(408 WHP 386 WTQ) 93 Octane Daily Driven.

And yes the WRX was stilling running strong as can be when I sold it until the owner (re tuned it himself) And then told me a few days later the motor blew due to a hyrdro lock. Find that harder to believe than an Ebay Full turbo kit is a 100k mile bolt on reliable kit.... He would have had to drive into a damn pond to lock it up like that. lol

Reason I am being so aggressive with the Civic is because I get parts (as long as he carrys them) @ his cost because its a friend of mine and a new shop that just opened and the trade off is, We make it a monster labor free, Parts @ cost , I have to advertise his shop and # In flat gray down my side skirts when finished to be pretty beffy on the street. So I still have to pick out some other goodies but the above mentioned are my main focus. Power first cosmetics later.

Better get a security system and quick release steering for your car since you got all of the goodies because if you live somewhere near Chicago, Illinois. Look out for people who steal hondas from left to right.

Clean SI! Thumbs up. It's your choice to get whatever parts you like because it's your car.

Has an alarm and a club, However the civic's that I hear about getting stolen aren't anyone jumping in and taking off. Most the time they are getting put right up on a flat bed.. Only has to make it a little while longer and she will be locked in a garage. I won't even drive to the city (I am on the outside) if I know my car has to sit to long lol... Sorry I took some pics down will get them back up after plates gets blurred up. Thanks for the heads up, I keep forgetting I drive a car that screams steal me now =(

Get rid of those eye lids on the headlights and that's super clean! Good luck with the build.

ok , pics back up again with a little more security lol... I can't believe out of all the cars I have had this is the one car that I have to worry about gettin stolen so often. I knew it would make little to no difference but that is actually why I pulled the SI stickers off of it in hopes that people wouldn't waste they're time on an EX. Then again I don't think it really matters, If its clean its clean I guess.

And really you dont like the eye lids!? I like how it doesn't make the front lights look so huge. To each they're own though. Thank you for the kind words and to be honest this is the first car I am scared to build because I am just now Learning Honda's lol.

So I don't know what brands are good and reliable etc. I have just been looking @ other members builds. Only thing I have scene time and time again going back and forth in forums is SS auto chrome, People swear its the best thing for the money and an equal amount if not more fire back with "its trash stay away"

Lol yeah since you said you moved to Illinois from Michigan which I assumed that you might live around Chicago suburbs. Better be safe than sorry. I'm just lookin out for you. I don't want to see low life thieves take it away and ruin it. That's good you have security already.

Your car looks nice anyways! Don’t be cheap out on no brand parts. Keep looking thur the threads; there is a lot of helpful information about Honda. I learned so much from Honda Tech. I owned a 1997 Honda Del Sol Vtec with goodies. No labor hours on it because I did it all myself. It’s fun to learn and fixing Honda the right way.

Just curious what boosted owners run what full kits that have been reliable. And what full 3" exhaust. I need to see if my parts guy can get them at cost.

I've been running the Greddy mani/turbo/downpipe combination, with injectors, ECU, and intercooler that I pieced together myself. Zero complaints from the kit pieces. You'll generally be better off piecing together your own kit, rather than buying a shelf kit.

Sounds good. Thank you again for the response. I will just have to dig in and get a rough Idea of everything I need and try to piece it all. (hopefully he can get it all) Just left the insurance company & got a 1,786.00 check to get the body all taken care of. So she should be damn near show floor new on the outside anyway in the next couple weeks. I want it all done now!!! haha I lack patience.

except I got in it today and noticed my motor is going out in my passenger window =( its ok though because that whole door panel has to be replaced anyway. The window only wants to go half way down and up and its very very slow in both motions.

It might just be slipping out of the track.

Check out Go-Autoworks.com for the turbo kit. As for a 3" exhaust if you want something quite for daily driving look into the 70mm Apexi WS2 muffler and have someone fab you a custom exhaust.

For tuning try ILL Garage. I here they are top notch. If your not already on the board you should check out JDMChicago lot's of info there on different garages around the Chicago area.
