Default Problems with cluster EG6

Hello fellas

I need someone with experience in this kind of problem that can help me out with my issue

I friend brought me from japan a jdm eg6 cluster (not SiR), the problem is that the oil light does not turn on at the ignition time and the light of needle on the temperature does not turn on at night.

Supposedly the plugs are plug and play but those lights are not working, and we all know how important its the oil indicator. Any suggestions???? JDM Plugs are different from USDM plugs?

When i saw that they are not working I put back the USDM cluster and they work correctly.

Thanks in advance!!!!

You have replaced the bulbs with KNOWN good ones? Hmm, well then there is only a few things it can be, then. Do you have a multimeter tester? Check the connection on the circuit board on the back of the cluster between the oil light pin and the bulb. Also check the connection between the other side of the bulb and the ground pin. Do the same for any other bulbs that are causing a problem. I suspect that it's related. Basically, I'm telling you to test the circuit board to make sure there aren't any breaks in it. Hmm, Is it possible something was damaged during transit? Good luck! Post back with your findings.
