Problem with my 97 LX? surging?
yesterday I was driving my 97 Civic Sedan LX that is bone stock to the body shop to get all the dings fixed and re-painted. The guy I bought it from only had a ebay intake, and a no name muffler....it was doing fine, but when I got to about 70mph....the car just bucked and surged. It did this a few more times before I got to he shop.
It's basically a bone stock D series motor.....the seller seafoamed the motor, and said there was no problems...there's about 110k miles on it now.
should I look to get a compression check done? anyone else encounter this?
