do you have an alarm system installed? because the guy who owned my car before installed a alarm system and did the crapiest job ever, i would have to hold the key for like 5 sec and it would start, or i would have to pop the clutch. so i had to get a new alarm system installed professinally. umm other then that i agree with what JDMh22eg9 said.

get the battery and fuel pressure checked. the thing with the fuel pressure is that when you shut the vehicle off there is a check ball on the pump to maintain the pressure untill you come back to start it the next time and if the pressure bleeds back into the tank then it can take a few secs to start. the other thing that should be a dead give away is even if the lights work do they go dim while cranking. if so then the battery will more than likely fix your problem.
