Default Primer

hey guys, i have had this idea for awhile now and i think i am going to do it in the next few months. To start off, when my car was first purchased, it already had rear fender damage on both sides from the girl who owned it before me. i have also learned that every panel on my car, excluding the roof and driver door has been repainted, so nothing REALLY matches. I was ran off the road and had my entire front end replaced with JDM parts, which happened do be red but dont really match either. And i got rear ended twice slightly within the first two months after i bought the car. also, the front bumper has MAJOR chips in it i assume due to a shitty paint job. Anyway, as you can probably understand, the body of my car is not in great shape. It looks fine from far, but you soon notice all the imperfections. Well my idea is to do all of the body work and primer the car Army green. I will also have a CF hood and Gold or Bronze Gram lights. what are some opinions of how it will look? i just think it would be nice to have a car with all matching body panels and no body damage for once. All opinions welcome, and if anyone has ever seen a pic of a Flat green civic, please post it up. thanks guys. Also, what would i do about the engine bay( its Red)? and does anyone know where to get GREEN primer?

I thnink that would look nice, especially with the CF...i don't know where to find green primer at though...i am imagining that u are spray painting it and i don't know where to get green primer.....you can though buy gray primer...or white ....and spray flat army green paint....it will turn out a lot nicer than to just spray green primer...if you do find green primer...you should wet sand anything that you are going to paint with like 100-120 grit sand paper and prime that section three times...trust me...it will turn out a lot better than just one like people are used to....after it has dried use 400 to 600 grit paper to smooth out your finish...viola! good luck

I Think you should look at this post before you start to paint.
