Default Price to offer for a 97 CTR styled hybrid?

My little brother is looking at a car and I have no idea on what to tell him to offer the seller. I was hoping to get some feedback from H-T on what to offer the guy.

The car:
97 Civic hatch, VSM, 60k on chasis
body is overall decent, but has about three minor dings scattered about the car and one major scrath about as long as a dollar bill on the passenger side door

Motor:
00 JDM ITR swap
ACT 2100 clutch
Comptech ice box and intake arm
JDM 4into1
Carsound cat and some 2.25 exhaust
All new maintenance items-timing belt, water pump, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor

Suspension & brakes:
00 JDM ITR 5lug
KYB AGX's
Ground Control Coilovers with Integra spring rates
SRR rear lower control arms
ITR master cylinder & booster
00 Civic Si Prop valve
Earls ss lines

Wheels:
15 steelies with brand new Blizzaks

Interior & misc:
Si front seats
Si Armrest
Eclipse CD player
Clifford remote starter/alarm with keyless entry and hatch popper
Air conditioning is all there, but compressor needs installed and system charged
Seller is giving OE CTR mirrors and spoier (both need painted) with the car
Includes stock hood and Fiber Images CF hood

The seller is an acquaintance that seems to just be bored with the car. The wiring looks factory and I can't see any real problems with the car.

Let me know what you guys think.

Also-just ran a carfax and the chasis is clean. Was in NC most of its life and then in OH for one year.

Steelies are made in 5 lug..

And the car is probably worth about 11-12,500 depending on the paint and the wiring. Any check engine lights?

Sounds like a sweet car. I'd ask 13,500 for my 99 EK w/00 JDM ITR motor (13k miles), AEM CAI, 00 Si engine harness, chipped P28 conversion, pioneer deck, si gauge cluster, tanabe exhaust, JDM cat, 99 Integra LS rims (not the mesh ones), yatta yatta. I've put in well over 15,000 on my car including the car, engine and wiring.

Just to give you an idea..

The guy bought the steelies and snow tires from Tirerack. He has a stockpile of ITR rims, but will not sell them.

From the people that I have talked to that know the seller better, they told me that the wiring is all tip top. The guy used a 98 EX harness and I guess the car started on the first try, and has never thrown a CEL.

Sounds like a clean car.. If you are serious about it, i'd get it checked by a mechanic/dealer. Ask him if he'd take $12k.. I wouldn't offer more than that.. Also ask him to throw in a set of the ITR rims..

i own a similar car and a fully runnign gen 2 ITR motor will put u runnign very fast and with only 60k on the chassis I woudl say offer him no less than $10,800......If i owned tht car i would wanna get liek 12000 for it.

Im thinking he wants around that much, if u get it for anythign less than 11, its a good deal, cause liek u said it needs minor body work but you are gettign a good car setup already.
